CountDown Begins

The Countdown Begins!!!! In less than 2wks I will be living to NYC!!! I can't tell you how excited I am for this change in my life at the moment... God knows that in the short time I've been upon this earth I've experienced a lot in my life... A new chapter in my story is about to begin and one I feel will push me beyond the limits of what I thought I was capable of... To all my family, friends, and anyone good/bad who have helped me to get to this point in my life THANK YOU!!!!

I am so very grateful of all the beauty and disaster that life can be! Sometimes apart of us has to die in order to be reborn and transform into something new. This is an opportunity for me to give birth to my dreams and to experience life without fear. FEAR prevents us from being our authentic selves and once you are able to conquer that fear nothing stands in the way... BE FEARLESS!!!!! BE FEARLESS!!!! BE FEARLESS!!!!

Detroit Fashion Incubator's First Blog Post

Announcements - As of October 1, 2007 Executive Director of Detroit Fashion Incubator, Michael Delon Wilson will be heading to NYC for an extended period of time. Which is exciting and will allow for me to make more contacts in the Fashion Industry ! This will benefit our Community here in Detroit, because I plan to serve as an ambassador and promote Detroit Fashion to anyone that will listen. So, please keep in contact with me!!! I plan to keep this blog updated and talk about my exploits in NYC. Also, I will post tips, trends, interviews with fashion professionals, and other interesting information.

I will periodically be in Detroit and will host a quarterly networking meeting! Detroit is my home and I am not abandoning our burgeoning design community, but I have some personal career goals to fulfill so I need this time away.
