Detroit Fashion Incubator began with creative minds in the realms of fashion, photography, art and business coming together to put on a fashion show in April of 2005 at the 4731 Gallery. This fashion show, which happened to be called Project ®eF@shion Detroit, was the brainchild of Michael Delon of Delon Detroit. The purpose of the fashion show was for exposure and nurturing of Metro Detroit's growing number of fashion designers.
